I photograph water over and over again. The different forms of water fascinate me endlessly. I’m inspired by the reflections on the surface of the water, its movement, the soundscape of water, and the underwater world. Right now, I’m particularly excited about capturing the world beneath the surface.
Water is simultaneously a source of sustaining and destructive power, a giver and taker of life, and a symbol of constant change. For me, the primary focus is the sea: it is the landscape of my soul and my sanctuary. In addition to the sea, I photograph all kinds of water and other forms of water, such as snow and ice.
